First 5 lbs down! I still have MANY more to go (another 20, minimum... yes, I've really porked up), and my next goal is 6 more pounds away (I'm breaking it down into small goals so I don't feel overwhelmed).

Tmorrow we head to the ATL for IKEA, and eating a lunch there of meatballs and such is going to be my small reward... then, back on the wagon

me, too! It crossed my mind to see if you wanted to meet us in the ATL, but it's pointless, really, since we're just going to get there, eat, buy what we need and then leave again. :/

Not doing anything too dramatic, really.

For a week I did the 'slimquick' cleanse pills. They didn't really do anything except make me poop and get bloated. I lost about 3 lbs from that, but it came and went depending on how much I crapped that day. Can't really say whether I 'lost' any of that for good or not.

Then I started taking the actual slimquick pills. As for whether they really speed up my metabolism or not, I don't know. But I am losing weight (whether that's just because of my diet or the pills or both is debatable). I'm just trying to be sensible about meals: high-fiber cereal for breakfast, fruit for a midmorning snack, lean cuisine-type meal for lunch with more fruit, a protein bar for an afternoon snack and then dinner is a lean meat, veggies and sometimes rice.

Even if the pills do nothing weight-loss wise, they do have lots of vitamins in them, so I am getting vitamins in me, at least!
