First 5 lbs down! I still have MANY more to go (another 20, minimum... yes, I've really porked up), and my next goal is 6 more pounds away (I'm breaking it down into small goals so I don't feel overwhelmed).
Tmorrow we head to the ATL for IKEA, and eating a lunch there of meatballs and such is going to be my small reward... then, back on the wagon

For a week I did the 'slimquick' cleanse pills. They didn't really do anything except make me poop and get bloated. I lost about 3 lbs from that, but it came and went depending on how much I crapped that day. Can't really say whether I 'lost' any of that for good or not.
Then I started taking the actual slimquick pills. As for whether they really speed up my metabolism or not, I don't know. But I am losing weight (whether that's just because of my diet or the pills or both is debatable). I'm just trying to be sensible about meals: high-fiber cereal for breakfast, fruit for a midmorning snack, lean cuisine-type meal for lunch with more fruit, a protein bar for an afternoon snack and then dinner is a lean meat, veggies and sometimes rice.
