Favorites & WHY
TV Shows: I have a fascination with the Discovery Health Channel and all the medical shows like Rescue 911, The Critical Hour, Amazing Medical Mysteries, and whatnot. I watch talk shows like Maury sometimes..And I love the show "Lost" All these shows show what crazy things can happen to people, and it either amazes me, makes me sad, or amuses me.
Bands/Singers: This is a very shortened list...But I love: A Static Lullaby, A Thorn For Every Heart, Atreyu, The Bled, Chevelle, Chimaira, Coheed and Cambria, Cursive, The Early November, Finch, From First To Last, Hawthorne Heights, Hidden In Plain View, Invocation of Nehek, Killswitch Engage, Norma Jean, Senses Fail, The Spill Canvas, Strata, Straylight Run, Taking Back Sunday, Underoath, Unearth, and The Used. I also like music from shows like Rent and Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera. I think these people have real talent, unlike most of the music on Mtv or on the radio. I wish I could play a guitar or drums like these people can, and I think the lyrics these people write are brilliant.
Actors & Actresses: I like Jay Hernandez because I thought he was amazing in the movie Crazy/Beautiful. He's hot, talented, and he's not over-exposed. I love Mandy Moore because she's got so much talent in both singing and acting. I love her music and she's not over-exposed either. I like how she quickly got off the track of becoming a stupid blonde pop star with slutty clothes and too much drama surrounding her.
Movies: A Walk To Remember, How To Deal, Crazy/Beautiful, St. Elmo's Fire, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Weekend At Bernies, The Outsiders, Corky Romano, The Notebook, The Neverending Story (1 and 2) Donnie Darko, Phantom of the Opera, and I love The Aristocats...because it reminds me of being a little kid. I like the other movies because some of them are emotional and actually made me cry, others I can relate to, and the rest are actually funny, not stupid.
Stores: Aeropostale, I love the clothes there because they're cute and they fit me.. and I can afford them. I like the clothes they sell at Hollister, but I don't actually own anything from there. I used to buy everything I wear from Weathervane before they went out of business...I'm also known as the dollar store-whore. Haha.
Opinion
Veganism / Vegetarianism: I personally don't even think about what animal I'm eating half the time. People have been eating meat for millions of years, it's a way of life. Animals eat other animals. It's really not "barbaric" or "mean" ..I actually think vegetarians/vegans are just..stupid.
Wearing Fur / Leather: I do think it's kind of sad that people hunt down animals only for their fur or skin, because using it as fashion isnt a necessity. I wouldn't boycott wearing any of it though, because many, many, many other people do. It's not like I can stop it from happening by not wearing it.
Now pick a controversial topic of your own and sway us with an eduacted opinion. (Hint: I would not choose abortion / gay rights as we have heard it a million times):The controversy over George Bush/America not being "free" or whatever the hell everyone complains about: Stop bitching. He's our president, there's nothing you can do about it. There's obviously more people who DO want him as our president than people who dont since he's in office again. We have freedom, we aren't being tortured or imprisoned and we don't have daily terrorist attacks. Be greatful. As for the war thing, people died in WWII and every OTHER war we've been in too, did they not?
Hot or Not and WHY
Ashton Kutcher: Not hot. He's just not funny. And I think that by dating Demi Moore, he brought his career way down.
Britney Spears: Not hot. Her music and her voice is attrocious. She should also put some clothes on and stop telling people to stay out of her business. That makes them only get involved MORE. I'm sick of her songs that are all about how she's grown up and she want's people to stop talking about her. That's what happens when you're a celebrity.
Jesse McCartney:Not hot. In about a year or so, people will go "who the hell is Jesse McCartney?" He's too young, and his songs are nothing special. We need some REAL talent.
Pamela Anderson: Not hot anymore. Maybe hot about 6 years ago? she's getting way too old to still be talked about. She had boobs. Then she didn't. Then she had them again..Guys want her. She posed nude. She has boobs. She made a lot of pornos. And... She has boobs. That's really all there is to her.
Burn Book - This is where you bash three celebrities of your choice.
Rules 1)We must know who they are. 2) NO POLITICAL FIGURES! 3)Burn some one other than the obvious (no burning Britney, Hilary, Avril, Anna Nicole, Ashlee and Jessica for once!)
1. The members of Simple Plan- They're all over 25 years old, and still talking about being made fun of in highschool. Take the song "Welcome To My Life" for example. PLEASE. get over it or write a song that isn't that LAME and cliche.
2. Paris Hilton. If her Daddy didn't own the Hilton hotel chains and fortune, she would be a nobody. I think she should try to become famous on her OWN. Though I'm not too sure how she'd do that. She doesn't have a talent of any sort. She's not very intelligent...and personally I don't find her attractive, and I don't know many people who do think she is.
3. Mariah Carey- Please get out of the music industry. You were washed up about 5 years ago. And do not go into acting, you tried that once, and you sucked. There's not much else you can do in your career now that you're, what, 40 years old now? You've had plenty of time to shine.

What is one thing you couldn't live without?? MUSIC. It's my therapy...I bring my cd player everywhere with me.
Which celebrity do you think you most resemble? I actually don't resemble anyone in particular. I don't even think I look like anyone in my own family.
Why do you want to be in this community? Because I'm interested in people's opinions, and meeting people, and seeing what you all think of me, and I'll stay active!
