X had just gotten back to his quarters after finishing a last bit of paperwork for the evening. He shrugged out of his uniform jacket and draped it over the back of a chair before heading into the kitchen to grab a bottle of iced tea from the fridge

Aya-chan is indeed using the video comm program. X will be able to see she is in her room at the Kitten chanting, "Pick up, pick up, pick up."

She squeals when she sees X. "X! Finally!"

X can't help grinning at her reaction. "Hi, Aya. Sorry it took so long. I was in the kitchen." She can see he's sitting at a desk, wearing a white shirt. Behind him she might be able to make out a set of shelves on the far side of the room, filled with books and some racks of shiny looking futuristic-techno thingies and assorted other random stuff.

Aya holds the commicator in front of her as flops backward on to her bed, bouncing a bit.

"Don't be sorry. Just tell me you aren't busy tomorrow night. I need you to come see me."

X blinks. "No, I'm not busy. Is everything okay?"
