It would be more accurate to say that X's passenger saw, not the diagrams themselves, but X's remembered viewing of them. A little 'seeing through X's eyes', a lot more seeing the data of those recent memories.
The livemetal holding Phantom's self was a little warm; in a similar vein, his own 'voice' was a little less cool than usual.
[Of course. I've been working on a few particular systems on my own time. However, the main framework, and it's assembly, is in another lab down the hall.]
X paused as he brought up several computer menus before locating the files he wanted to open.
[Which have you been working personally on? *quiet curiosity*]
Some moments passed before Phantom responded, with a distinct feeling in the air -- so to speak -- that he was both considering the question with all due gravity and possibly sorting through what he'd seen again.
[Most of the basic reploid systemry is finished already. I had a personal hand in some of it, including the power core and neural net.
What I've been working on in here, though, are some of the more esoteric systems - weapons and armor interfaces, hologram generators, shadow manipulation and teleportation. I haven't tried any biosculpting yet. I may just leave that to nanite construction, though.]
