I love World Cup soccer. But once the U.S. and England are eliminated, I'm over it. The southcoast of Massachusetts, where I live, is like 85% Portuguese. Portugal eliminated England, so I'm starting to dislike 85% of the people around here. Well, not really. I want Portugal to take the Cup though. I cried when England lost. Though once we went to penalties, it was pretty fooking obvious that we would. Still, Robinson put on one hell of a show that night. Rooney was a cock for allowing himself to get thrown off. But worst was good ol' Sven Goren Eriksson who didn't think to put someone up front with Crouch. We could have won if he had. BASTARD!!!

Oh dear. I'm clogging up your webspace with inane ramblings, so I apologise. I have to say, though, that I will be really annoyed if Portugal wins. Those bastards screwed us out of Euro 2004, completely unfairly, and now they've taken the World Cup from us too. Meh. Stupid Portuguese people.Bah!

I was surprised England got as far as they did having to play in that shitey 4-1-4-1 formation. One striker? How many goals do we expect to get with ONE striker? Why didn't he train up Crouch and Rooney to play up front as a team and play 4-4-2 instead? He can go to his 4-1-4-1 formation once we're winning.

I agree. I was disappointed by the Portugal/France game. I didn't get to see the beginning of it because I was at work, but I thought Portugal would put up more of a fight. I think that ref from Uruguay was making some pretty shady calls.

Anyways, I hope Italy wins it, because France are cheese eating surrender monkeys.
