I read your post in lj_uk and figured I might be able to help since we're of around the same age. I'm Alex and I'm 19, (20 in 3 months). I lived in New Zealand for a year, last year and came home a couple of months ago, although not quite as long as eight years I kinda can understand how you must be feeling.
