Hey kids! I am home. The problem with this is that our Internet Explorer is severely messed up here. So I downloaded Mozilla Firefox, but it is kind of stupid. When I visit my personal website (outoftune.org/em) and my journal, it's all messed up. At my personal site, the words go all the way across the page, even though in IE they are the length ( Read more... )

I use Mozilla because IE crashes on me constantly. It always really sucks that the only way I can see most people's journal layouts is by opening them in IE. :/

Sorry I can't much help, I wish I knew the solution myself.

If I ever find out, I will let you know. Mozilla is a nice program, I do like it, I just hate that it messes with my stuff. Oh well.

It's in the coding, I'm afraid. Firefox can't read certain IE elements, but I'm pretty sure there's special coding you can use so it works on both. I'm just not sure what, haha. Google it?

But apart from that, believe me, it's SO worth it. Since I started using it I haven't had to use Adaware or Spybot or McAfee or anything. I love it. :D

What should I google? Haha. I will look up... something. I don't know, but I'll look around.

I like Firefox besides those two points. *shrugs*

Though I have used Firefox for a while with little problem, I do see what you mean about your website. I didn't see what picture you meant. I looked at the page source on the outoftune site, and there are no margins or tables defined, so that may have something to do with the text. Are you coding it or using Frontpage, etc.?

If you want to give up on Firefox, there is Opera, which is pretty much Netscape:

And there is of course Netscape.

For my website, I am coding it. When using Internet Explorer or Opera, the words go only as far as I wanted them to, to the edge of the image at the top.

In Firefox and Opera, my livejournal doesn't work. To the right of the table there is a picture of Kate Winslet which you can see in Internet Explorer.

I downloaded Opera and then deleted it because I disliked it off of the bat. I like Firefox, aside from the fact that it messes with my website & livejournal.

Thank you for your advice.

I looove Firefox - but yeah, I had to do a lot of code updating when I switched over becaues it made my site and journal look funky. http://forums.mozillazine.org/ is pretty helpful if you want to get into that.

Oooh, I've got a question. A really stupid question, but a question nonetheless. How do you do make the cute little trapezoid like on this icon? I played around with PSP a little, but everything I did looked like crap. Which is nothing new, but I figured I'd bug you anyway. :p
