unemployed life

Joe's unemployment FINALLY went through - after being "declined" once. A week after being rejected for unemployment (yeah, he "wasn't making enough money at his old job"), he gets a letter in the mail saying he was accepted. go figure. So he will be getting a check for last week because of the confusion... so that's good ( Read more... )

ah, job searching.. you'll find something!

You know.....Journalism isn't exactly dead, just the printed form.

He could search online for websites that need journalists.. Seriously, ya never know!

unemployment IS hard on people.. I've been a lazy bum-ass, and andy and I both wouldnt even get out of bed as early as we do if we didn't have to get Jaiden on the bus!! It sucks getting up at 6 am and having all day to look forward to with NOTHING... bah.

yeah, and Joe is reallllly into sports, so I think he really could do something with that. he retains the most insignificant little details about the most random sports teams and stuff, and is such a great writer too.

i'm actually applying to 2, maybe 3 grad schools in the rochester/buffalo area..just because of the job market. meh. but i'm being lazy and didn't take the GRE or anything so i have to find schools that don't require it. luckily St. John Fisher and Nazareth both have programs that don't!

and CONGRATS on getting a job!!!! I'm jealous! but still really excited for you, I hope it works out!!
