This has to be one of my favorite stories of yours ever. It's magnificent. Let me tell you why . . .

I’ve been in love with Draco Malfoy for as long as I can remember. There's so much power in this. It's confident, vulnerable, and sets the tone for the entire piece. It's so romantic like the moment dusk settles against the clouds, a quiet, coaxed whisper. It's simply perfect.

The manor gardens, the rose bushes, the hedge maze, Draco's laughter -- these memories of Teddy's -- they're sacred. So much of his identity is based on his feelings for Draco. He notices and appreciates the smallest things -- the tapping of Draco's quill against parchment, the lines around his eyes as he answers the door, smirking at Teddy's overpacked suitcase.

He loves being cradled in quiet vulnerability, he feels things and emotions so deeply that they consume him, and he lets them. It's beautifully tragic and heartwrenching because he's so like Harry in that way -- he craves something he's never really ( ... )
