Oh, my goodness. This was wonderfully evocative and wrought with tension. I love Draco's refusal to break, juxtaposed with Albus's refusal to give up. The you're just like your father line was brilliant. And how they both settle for what they can get, despite it not being what either of them truly wants was so raw and heartbreaking.

Lovely, as always.

Oh thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked this story. I just am a sucker for Draco/Albus that has a bit of heartache to it--okay basically I just love this pairing any way they come! Haha, thanks for reading and commenting <3

Oh, lovely. In a dark way, obviously. Poor Draco, and yet poor Albus, who needs to get things in this way. Beautiful.

Oh, this was so wonderful and thought provoking. I love my Draco/Albus, but you really turned the typical power dynamic on its head here, on so many levels: the age difference, the student/teacher roles, the way Draco is typically portrayed in cross-gen fics, I could go on and on. And I agree, I loved this line:

Just like my father echoes in his head. Confusion and envy blow through like a sudden storm

There were so many possible layers to this. Was Harry the one Draco was meeting the night before? Was Albus envious because of the history that Draco would always have with Harry? His own relationship with his father? Ahh, so, so good!

Hot, yet dark, leaving the reader with an unsettled feeling in the end, as it should. Just great!!!

Ah thank you so much for your lovely comment!

It's such a joy to find a fellow fan for Draco/Albus since it can be a rarer pairing and I just adore them so much. I really liked having Albus be the agressor here and I'm so pleased you enjoyed that as well.

Yes, I really wanted that line to be open-ended. Even I am not certain if Draco just pines after Albus's father, or if he and Harry might have a fling--past or present. It would certainly make the situation even more bitter than it already is.

Thank you again for your kind words! <33

OH, I do love this! Such a wonderfully devious Albus and the tone here is fabulously hot and chilling. I really like how you weaved in the collecting aspect. It's not a kink that appeals to me, but it was so perfectly, subtly done here that I found myself really enjoying it. Some gorgeous lines and imagery here. I particularly loved this paragraph:

He efficiently redresses pausing momentarily as his gaze is drawn to a button torn loose from Malfoy’s robe. The dying candlelight glints against the polished silver surface, calling to Albus like a beacon from the floor. The perfect addition to his collection. He reaches for his tie, crumpled on the cold floor, and snatches the button swiftly, like a Snitch from the sky.

So fantastic! And the last line! Oh, it's such a beautiful and perfect last line.

Wonderful work, lovely. <3
