depending on the type of car, it's good news.

Manual transmissions, as a general rule, are less expensive than automatic transmissions, as it's usually just a series of little things that can pop.

Just the timing of this is bad is all. Also needed to do some more X-mas shopping, luckily the car payments I havent had to make since nov 2002 have been tucked away just for this kind of occasion, well that and I was trying to save up for a nice downpayment on something new.
Oh and its a 95 Camaro...
Dont laught, other than this new clutch thing and the miles it runs nice. ;-)

Whelp, it's not like you didn't know it was going to happen. But, I agree that the timing sucks. Things, good and bad, tend to pile up at this time of year.

Lots of luck though.

PS- Call Cliff from the garage tomorrow when you get to work. He is awesome, he can prolly tell you almost everything you need to know. Maybe even install once you get the parts.

Oh without a doubt, Cliff (I hope he has teh time wednesday) has been doing and I hope will do allteh work I've had done to teh car in the past two years. I just hope he can do it tomorrow!

The pressure plate split and threw itself into the housing and split that too...
Beacuse of that locking the car into gear when i pushed the clucth petal again it spit the master hydraulic rod o the ground and that system is usually sold as a closed system, one piece. grand total with labor $800. Wheee. Yeah. Crap.
