See, that's what's so good about YOU Mike. You never give people any reason to have a high opinion of you, so they expect the worst, and then they are pleasantly surprised to find you are NOT an absolute bastard.

People should stop starting off by being nice... LOL

I have been told by at least a few people that they originally thought I hated them/was a bastard when we first met. In fact, about five minutes after meeting Leigh's new girlfriend(?) last weekend, I was told to "stop being a cunt." I don't like using that word, but that's what was said. It was especially strange since I don't think I had really said or done much of anything. Maybe I just radiate hate subconsciously..?

it's a shame when people turn out to not be who you expected them to be. i guess you just have to move on and find the people that you do actually want to spend time with, or get to know better.

*hug* :)

i think we often expect too much from people

they are, after all, only human. and they are flawed, as we too are. all in our own ways

we dont give perfect friendship to anyone, and no one gives it to us. only someone more perfect could give us perfect friendship. in the garden of eden, we ruined the relationships between us and God, us and each other, and us and the environment. so we just need to make the best of them, but not expect them to be purfect

but you know what, i love you :)
