I have recently come into ownership of a very extensive postage stamp collection. There are stamps as old as 1858 and 1911 most are 1940's and 1970's with a few from the 60's they are from all over the world. Japan, Russia, Africa, New Zealand, and I'm sure a few are from countries not considered countries anymore. Most are used... but some are ( Read more... )

eBay would have the most realistic fair-market price. Search "completed listings".

mmm the death of your bird made you think of me...

I don't know how to take that...

Do you think I should take pics of each stamp and sell them individually or as a collection?

Well, I do recall that you recently had a bird that met an early demise as well.
As for the stamps, the market is kinda down. There isn't a lot of buyers.
You would get more money selling them individually, if you were even able to sell them all. That would take a really long time.
You wouldn't get as much money selling it as a lot, but you would be rid of them with cash in pocket.

Yep I did have a bird that died not to long ago... I was just being silly with you... about the thinking of me part...

Sorry to hear about your bird though... what kind was he/she? how'd she die?

call the Worth Antique Gallery. it's on beach blvd at the beach. every so often they have an appraiser come in. i think once a month. :)

I can't help with that question - but i will ask - why type of swords?
my boyfriend collects swords and he may have an idea about them.
