I just want to begin planning my summer around faire but kinda have nothing to go on...

Yeah, that pretty much sums up how I've been feeling lately, too. I'm going mad with worry over a lot of stuff. And the not knowing---what happened to Brightspot, what's going on with Faire, which part I'll get-----is possibly the worst bit. Some friggin' solid information would not go awry right about now.

Some spectacularly good news would be even better, but I'll be damned if I can think of anything that would qualify.

Anyway, hang in there, dude. If you folks are up to it during the weekend, which I highly doubt but I'll offer anyway, by all means give me a shout.

Sounds like it's once again time for a shift, a chge, and some movement.

By Saturday afternoon I will be moving my masses of stuff back into Claiborne's home and come back just for a few days to finish finals. After that I'll be equally as stuck and you're welcome to come with me during the days looking for a job and just geting some new energy flowing.

at this point I'd rather know when first meeting is then my character, and I believe that I am not alone.

Everything seems to be running later this year, I don't think it is a deliberate attempt to keep people in the dark.

If I can say one thing about the faire process so far it is ambitious. In some cases maybe a little unrealistically so. With costuming, storyline, and even the overall mythos of the faire, sweeping changes are being made. Unfortunately this also came at a time when there was much change in the staff structure so everything got a late start. I too am anxious to know when first meeting will be, or fight workshop when I have to be ready to teach. It was probably foolish of the staff to say casting in two weeks was a possibility, we just had too many auditioners for that. Moreover we had so few stage roles it meant we needed to create a TON of characters for street. So my friend, know that we are trying and though we may not hit every high mark we aim for this year, and scheduling may at times be less than ideal, we're going to do great things this time around.

ok. I suppose it's legitimate that you, as a director, know your role, but seriously is it that they have come up with, Baker, Butcher and Candlestick maker, but haven't got names...I don't think people would care if they were "wedding planner" or whatever until first meeting...or even until someone comes up with a suitable name if that is after first meeting...

It seems to me that ambition is great, but at this point we need some answers, for the last two years first meeting has been in May...most people have already planned most of May...

I am not singling you out by any means, I can feel your anticipation is just as strong as mine every time I look at the fight we wrote...
