the following is the next few paragraphs in my story that I posted the first bit ages ago.   LEAVE COMMENTS, please.

The walls of the hallway were white pained cnderblock, like a hospital or school.  The first door on the right in the short corridor had a plaque that read "Red Volge," Cassandra recognized it as an edgy, politically charged

Nuts and bolts first: There are a few typos in the first paragraph, and I suggest re-thinking some of your longer sentences; either punctuate them differently or separate them entirely.

That being said, it's a very descriptive few paragraphs, very easy to picture. I am wondering, however, about Cassandra's reaction to the publisher; didn't she know where she was coming to?
