So yesterday in my film class we were discussing the animated film Waltz With Bashir within the context of documentary film-making. Our TA asked us the question of whether or not we'd consider it a documentary. This is my answer, pretty much how I said it at the time:

HAHHAAH so i was scrolling through my friends page and i saw NANOOK, and i was all WUT!? we had to watch nanook of the north in mmw too!! and yeah, we learend about how it wasn't real... haha. but also the guy who was playing nanook ended up dying later or something in eskimo land. it was sad :(
