I'm home resting for a few hours, and regretting that I'm not more active here anymore, and therefore have no idea if anyone is around to talk to me. Time was, I would absolutely know who, in which timezone, would likely be a) online and b) interested in a fannish discussion ( Read more... )

Entertainingly, most of my married friends really empathize with this part of the planning. File under: stuff no one told you.

I'm going on 17 years now without a wedding. If D and I ever bother, we're going to just have a picnic and inform everyone afterward that we went to the courthouse the other day. :)

I've been trying to be fannish (mainly Doctor Who) lately but bought a house in January and have been sinking lots of time into that. Real Life Things, what?

We are around year five, and I could have happily never officially wed, or eloped. I'm not a fan of weddings, though, so I never would have done this at all if it weren't important to E.

The GI issues are only mildly lingering now. I've returned to eating and drinking normally and have had a lovely weekend. With the exception of the manhunt in the neighborhood last night, which I spent happily on lockdown with some girlfriends over and drinking wine/knitting.
