Hi, I was wondering if you could help me. I was browsing through the CarletonU community when I came across your post. I remember you being an ESP student and as an ESP student myself I just had a question. Since you mentioned you are applying for OSAP, does this mean you are returning? And if so, are you taking a second year of ESP or where you allowed into a regular program? I am asking simply because they have yet to tell me anything, I am taking a summer school class so maybe that's why, but even then I wonder if I will ge the B- needed. If you could shed some light on the situation I would be very appreciative, thanks.
You should have informed yourself of all these details, and not waited for them to contact you. Take the initiative.
I myself am not returning to Carleton, I 'm going to Herzing this fall. But I was informed that I was still eligable to take another year in ESP or (had I completed my program - I dropped out), that I would have been able to pursue regular classes.
Don't be so impatient with someone you're looking for advice from next time.
sorry. i didnt mean to be impatient or rude sounding, it's just that i had a C and decided to take summer school to boost my grade and they told me they would wait until i had gotten in all my grades, but it's been two week and so far all i have is one of my grades putting me at a C+ and it is driving me nuts because i dont want to take another year of ESP so i was really hoping they would let me in on the C+. i had read your entry to the carleton U comm and you mentioned having not been in good standing but still applying for OSAP so it almost made it seem like you were returning one way or the other and i had just wondered if they had let you into the program regardless. i'm sorry for being impatient. but thanks though for the help.
