Im happy to be a hispanic living in NYC. The memories of my mom giving me 5 dollars for the week so that i could get myself a pasteliyo everyday after school, memories of my neighbors playing their salsa too loud or just memories of block parties and fire hydrants in the summer make me wish i still had those ties with my old block. Speaking of hispanics we gonna be surrounded by some in florida!!! i cant freakin wait!!!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you should go see the musical..."in the heights" you would be GREAT in that...and your description of your life in the bronx reminds me a lot of the show.
