I find wearing posts more comfortable than wearing rings, but all that aside, I wouldn't be changing jewelry so soon...depending on how long you waited to change jewelry.

perhaps ask for a consult at a piercing shop you trust? its probably the best information than anything people can read about as the professional can actually SEE what you're working with and advise from there.

Buy a couple of really cheap basic steel rings in different diameters just to try on and see what fits best.

this. once they're healed, ring diameter is more of a personal preference than anything else.

larger diameters mean more metal and more weight. smaller means less. I like larger. mine are a 4g.

I would say ask your piercer, he/she would know best what would suit your anatomy
