Nose/Monroe piercing

I have had a nose ring and monroe stud for about 7 years. I'm about get to get a job that hates piercings so I will have to take both of them out while I am at work. So, my question is, how long will it take a nose piercing and monroe piercing to close? I've heard that monroes can close up in a few minutes, I just want to make sure. Thank you.

I went through the same thing with my nostril just over a year ago - to be honest if the job is worth it just take it out completely. Mine was completely healed and taking it out and putting it back in all the time it starts to close and get infected and it just didn't work so I had to give it up. :(

it varies by individual, but taking it in and out will irritate it. as you've had it so long, it may well stay open without much issue.

you should get PTFE retainers; they can be trimmed to size and will help hide them.
