As you may know, several versions of the 1973 The Wicker Man exist. On DVD the only valid option is "the restored long version" AKA "extended version" AKA "director’s cut" AKA the special edition DVD. Hi and greetings! I am happy to be your lj-friend - I just added you to my friend list to keep updated of how you are doing.

Wicker Man is an excellent movie! I also own the soundtrack and it is one of the most listened albums in my player. I have dreamt of having the notes for some of the songs, but my long-lasting searches in internet and music shops have never given any results.

I don't know are you aware, but about a year ago I did write quite long message about the ethics and world view of WM to Pakanaverkko mailing list - it actually bursted into quite long list of conversations into which several people attented.

I remember your e-mail on PV list and although I didn't have time to read the conversation properly at the time, I have the e-mails stored and intend to read them with thought one of these days.
