yesterday, i went to the warped tour.

I went to Warped with very low expectations, due to my dislike of most of the bands.
This is a really long entry, by the way.

We were supposed to go on the 7:59 train to Woodside but Thea overslept, so me and Ash and Frances woke up at 6:00 for nothing. We were then supposed to catch the 8:59 train but then Thea's mom was still getting ready so we eventually took the 9:59 train.
The train ride there was okay; you could tell which people were going to Warped due to their age/clothing.
After we got off the train at Woodside, we saw this mob of people waiting for the bus to go to Randall's Island, where Warped was.
We got on the bus fast enough because we had exact change. The bus ride there was like a half hour because of the traffic. This big old guy was standing over Ash (he smelled bad) and he took a beer bottle out of a cooler and opened it by using the seat in front of Ash. Beer got all over her bag and he's like I'm sorry, I just had to, and he then proceeded to wipe off the beer with his crusty hands.
The line was looong to get into Warped but this guy from a band came up to us and asked us to listen to his band's music. We had a little chat and I offered him my Goldfish. Ash bought their cd (they're called Facing New York)
When we got in, Sugarcult was playing. We were all the way in the back but I saw a little of the band (one of them was wearing a crazy black and white striped shirt). They played Memory, Bouncin Off the Walls, Pretty Girl, and something else.

We got so much free shit. I got like 13 cds, a bunch of stickers and pins, 2 posters and 2 shirts...all free. Fuse also was handing out condems that said "save the bunnies."

We saw this band called Melee (May-lay). They were really good and the guitarist and the drummer signed my program. I bought the Rocky Horror Punk Rock Show Soundtrack, which has the songs from the movie except all these bands covered them.
It was $10.

So then we saw this guy with a black shirt and black pants with a pink tie surrounded by girls and that's when we realized it was Tim, the lead singer from Sugarcult. We followed him to their booth. Wow, I hate to say this, but he is such an ass. He signed autographs without even looking at what he was signing and he was signing with this kid's pen and the kid was waiting for 10 minutes to get his attention. Then Tim said really loud Are you guys going to buy anything? When people asked him to pose with them for pictures, he put on fake smiles and sometimes he wouldn't even look at the camera and the people in the picture had to call his name like 5 times. Yeah, he makes decent music but what an ass.

More stuff happened but I got to go.

<3, marie.
