It's great that no matter where you are, or what you do, there is always one constant in your life. There will always be a hole-in-the-wall Chinese eatery, where there will be people who'd understand you. Provided you speak standard Mandarin, of course.

Things are going quite well, actually, considering that we just lost his wallet, the one with lots of money and the international credit card in it. Makes for interesting, eclectic lunches and creative, free fun.

I, of course, refer to loads of walking around on an empty stomach, trying to find a Western Union branch that's open on Easter Monday. Oh, and drinkable tap water, let us not forget that European advantage.

His sister will probably save us come tomorrow, and I was smart enough to stash some cash away from my now husbands' magical disappearing assets, so we have a place to sleep.
Seriously, he lost his wallet every f*cking time he went abroad, ever. One wallet per trip, bonus points for large amounts of cash contained herein, double for extra inconvenience. This one takes the cake, though.
