Jade shrugged at Moz's question about the food. It had been there, that's all she knew.

"I don't know." she replied. "The food was there when I woke up. Maybe someone dropped it by while I was still sleeping."

"Glad the meeting was okay." The smile on her face nearly matching the one on Moz's, she continued, "Anything big happen?" She sure was feeling mighty curious this morning.

"Well, Salene obviously still can't fight her own battles. Ebony came waltzing in to defend Salene after I 'hurt her feelings'. Strikes me as odd. After all, last time I checked, Ebony didn't *like* Salene."

Moz sighed. "The whole situation seems odd to me. But I'll tell you the rest when the girls get back. Better story if I only have to tell it once."

Moz flopped onto a couch, grinning. "Girls, I think this is going to work. It's actually going to work." Marilyn laughed a little, and joined her on the couch. "I can't wait to see Salene's face when she figures out what we're doing."

Moz laughed out loud. "Salene? Figure it out? Never."

"Ha." Jade chuckled a little at the thought of those annoying mallrats.

She sat down in a chair across from the couch and waited for the girls to get back so she could hear about the rest of what went down.

She suddenly didn't feel to well but fought back her urge to run and vomit. She still didn't want to reveal her pregnancy to the girls, not just yet anyway.
