I am not a teabagger, but I would closely identify in what is going on in the Tea-Party movement.
I just think it is funny when someone denigrates you in order to try to make a point.
It is like saying, "You idiot, this is how you do it." You basically lose the argument because you had to result to denigrating your opponent.
In the past I would be rather angry, but I have learned since to just let them know that adult conversations can only happen when the people act like adults.
I believe we need to reduce not increase the size of government. Restore a limited-government Constitutionalism to its proper place in society. Reducing national deficits. Reduction in taxes across the board.
It is more about personal responsibility. Allow your neighbors to be charitable and not force people who don't know you to support you.
Just to instill some more values that lead to personal responsibility and less towards protecting people from themselves.
Honestly, I shut the guy down and he hasn't responded, which means he has no intention on acting like an adult and want to spew how he hates people who don't think his way.
I don't mind if you have a difference of opinion from me. It is when you use that to base whether I am worth living or being worth meeting, then I have a problem with that.
But I better not get sucked in. I said my peace and if he does respond with more venom. I will have to mull it over before I respond.

I'm still interested -- what in the "tea-party movement" can you identify with?
