personally I like Mixed better....Mulatto sounds too much like a dairy product, and Bi-Racial could get me mistaken for Bi-Sexual....nothing against Bi-Sexuals, its just that Im not one...ya dig?!

I prefer that my son be called Mixed. The word seems to includes all of his heritage. And Mulatto does sound like a dairy drink or something from Starbucks.

Mixed is my word of choice.

Bi-racial is a little too politically correct for my tastes, but if someone uses it referring to me I don't mind.

Don't really like mulatto, I don't appreciate its origins and the tone folks have used it in around me usually makes me wanna scratch their faces off.

yeah, when refer to me as a "Mulatto" it seems to always have a negative connotation

i prefer mixed. and i've noticed that most people think of "mixed" as being black & white.. which is what i am.
i'll say bi-racial more often than i'll say Mulatto though
