Yeah im really looking forward to using this with my 5D
and 350D (IR modified) for that matter.. i bet this could
produce some interesting IR work.

If I've done my research right, that's a really fast lens isn't it? For nice low ISO portraits and things like that?
Environmentally sealed, aspherical lensed goodness!
