NJ Con 2011
I am back from the best weekend EVER, and I know I've said this for the past 2 conventions, but each year seems to the top the next, plus Jared was there so it was destined to be the best
Since I posted them everywhere else, I figured I'd post them here and give my experience of the photo ops this year.
My first photo op was with Matt Cohen, I had met him last year and absolutely HATED how I looked in that picture, so I said screw it, I want something fun, and figured Matt would be game. I had planned to wear a shirt that had a scarf with it, and decided I kind of wanted to 'lasso' Matt in with it, so I asked him and he smiled big and was like "of course, that's awesome!" so I draped the scarf over his neck and this is the result;
I smiled so big when I got this back and saw the face he made, totally more perfect than I had imagined it being and definitely makes up for the photo I hate from last year.
My next photo op was with Richard Speight Jr, I know it's not original in the least but I so WANTED him to do the trickster snap, so when I got up to him he said hi and asked how I was doing..which does he really need to ask, I'm standing next to him..of course I'm doing EXCELLENT. Anyway, this was the result of that;
I think RSJ looks like he's totally in 'trickster' mode, therefore I love it. And as I mentioned on twitter, my 'snap' is totally awkward, haha. I was nervous :p
The next day was my op with JARED PADALECKI! I've seriously waited forever to meet him, and after him unfortunately having to cancel the first year of NJCON, I was stoked that it was actually happening. Since I never met him I just wanted a HUG. When it was my turn I just walked up to him with a big (most likely idiotic) smile on my face and he said hi and smiled back at me and I asked for a hug and he said of course..which is good, would have been awkward if he was like NAH, NO HUG FOR YOU haha But yeah, anyway, he's awesome
YAY! When I showed my sister this picture she's like "you guys have the same hair color" hahah It was well worth the wait to finally meet him, worth the money too ;)
My last photo op was with Misha, and since I already had 3 "normal" pictures with him, I decided to do something fun. Unfortunately we have to wait for that one to be mailed to us, but I'm anxious to see how that turned out, Misha said "niiiice" after we took it, so I hope he's right!

Those were all my ops for this year! I wasn't planning on doing any autographs just because general admission you have to wait FOREVER, but after I saw how my Matt op turned out I was like I totally need to get this signed! So I bought a ticket and waited, and waited, and then waited some more. Finally the final people were called up and I was the VERY last person in line, so we're waiting some more, and Matt peeks his head out and asks who the very last person in line was so I raised my hand, and he pointed at me and said "I got you" and winked at me. Had no clue what the hell he meant by that but hey, he winked at me.
So after some more waiting (see the theme here?) I finally got up to him and he was like wow, so you're the very last one? And I was like 'yep, that would be me', and he stood up looked around and then slowly started to lift up his shirt and said "I have to make sure I don't get both of them" so the lady taking tickets (I have no clue what these people are called) helped pull his shirt that he had on under and he took off his shirt and laid it on the table and said "I'm also going to sign this for you..which I'm not supposed to do either" and the lady next to him said she saw nothing :p and he signed the shirt and handed it over to me. Definitely did not expect that at all. Matt also said he loved our photo op! Me too, Matt. Me too.
Also..it smells like Matt. Just sayin'
So yeah..that was NJCON 2011, now it's time to start saving for next year's :p
