So it would seem that the 5th generation iPods (one of which I received this Christmas) blow out the right earpiece of headphones used with them. Shawn Conn sent me a link to a discussion page filled with people complaining of this. Mine's still under warranty, so I believe if we (the busted-earpiece'd) can get them to admit to this, I can get a ( Read more... )

I got the Nano for xmas and no matter how many songs I delete off of it it says it is full and won't let me put on any more. Good thing my mom got suckered into the entended warranty deal so I can just hand it to Best Buy and they hand me a new one.

I've been playing it through computer speakers (same jack) at work and no problems. It's just the earbuds. I wish I still had that link. It's probably on slashdot or something.

I've really only had that problem with it, which isn't really an issue if you don't want to deafen yourself. This one guy @ www.markshroyer.com seems to think it's a DC line sneaking into the right earbud amp or something correct that I don't fully understand nor feel like switching back and forth between his website and this box to type correctly.
