Katherines life is rough. Stefan was too young to know what to do with her. but i like the idea of her continually going back to check on him. Probably on Damon too, making sure they are in the same vicinity of each other, because she wanted them both to turn, i think she wants them to stick together.

Her life is rough, and a lot of people label her a total bitch (and she can be) but there's more to her, and I think there's a lot of emotion there that she doesn't show.

I'm pretty sure that even though she was kinda more or less the cause of the rift between them, she still wants them to be close. If that makes sense. ^^;

I’m not always sure she meant to cause a rift. I do think she likes being the bitch. She’s good at being the bad guy, but you’re right, there’s a lot more to her than that.

Oh, that was wonderful. I loved how you write Katherine and her feelings for Stefan, how she truly does genuinely love him even though she knows that he will always love others more than her.

And as painfully relevant as it is to her (that always) she knows just how horribly irrelevant it is to him.

Broke my heart, tbh.

Thank you! ^_^ I feel kind of bad for Katherine, in a way. Of course, there were times when I got angry with her (like when she told Damon it was always Stefan). However, I am very interested in her character and I do believe she genuinely loves both brothers, only she probably loves Stefan more than Damon (which is kind of strange--she had to compel Stefan to drink her blood, but she didn't have to compel Damon at all... I guess we can't control what our hearts choose).

Katherine is a strong woman, but I wanted to show what lies beneath that strength--that she is just someone who is in love, and not really wanted in the way she would like to be.

You leave such wonderful comments! ^_____^ I used to dislike Katherine, but something's made me like her (like, a lot) and I really wanted to show the softer, weaker side of her here. What she said in 3x09 got me to thinking. :)
