For me, it really depends on the pairing. XD However, I had never imagined these three all together, really. Sure, there's the triangle, but that's different, you know? So I was nervous as hell when writing this, wondering if it made sense. I wasn't sure I could make it work.

I wanted to write Stefan in a more vulnerable sort of light. I'm so glad his characterization worked out for you here. He's definitely not the Stefan that Elena met anymore, and he's not the Stefan that was the "Ripper"... he's come back different, and Elena and Damon needed to warm up to him all over again.

I am not so into the Stefan/Damon, but I've read and loved a few OT3 fics that just work and this just works. Well done.

I'm particularly fond of the brotherhood you've painted here. They way they're both so conflicted all the time and there can never be any single emotion that defines their relationship at any point. Nicely described.

Part of the reason why I was so nervous writing and posting this is because I am a Damon/Elena fan. I love the relationship between Damon and Stefan--that weird brotherly bond of theirs. However, it's difficult for me to see them in a physical relationship, so writing this really took some effort. *LOL* I'm glad I wrote it though.

Oh, yay! I'm glad you like the way I portrayed their brotherhood. It's one of my favorite aspects of the show.
