Oh, man. I like the surprise he has at Winry's choice not to take revenge. And that was a nice explanation of why Scar didn't just immediately kill Edward (I always figured it was because dramatic tension and Mustang moving at the speed of plot. :P)

This fic is almost... well, two years old, I think, and I kind of figured that if I posted it now, some others could appreciate it. ^_^ And hahaha, it could have very well been because of dramatic tension and Mustang moving at the speed of plot, but I liked the idea of Scar pausing because he thought of his own brother, and so that's how I wrote it.

I really enjoyed reading this. I loved all the connections to himself and his past he made while narrating this. But I think this was my favorite line: Oh, but his brother has given him this cursed arm, and so part of him lives on, doesn’t it? What irony.
