In conversation with one of the sound techs at the conference I am attending, I suggested he replace the (anodyne crap) filler music with some Prince. He looked like this was a reasonable suggestion for a moment, then Understood and agreed firmly this was clearly the right thing to do. I hope he had some with him to do this.
