tornado!

    So I don't know if any of you have heard but yes, a Tornado did hit Manhattan, Kansas last night. Thankfully no one was hurt but it did cause a lot of damage. And if my roommates and I would not have moved... well lets just say we would not have a place to stay. They made everyone get out of our old apartment complex!

Oh gods. I heard it was bad - my friend up in Manhatten didn't get touched, but he's JUST off campus. >.< That looks... oh gods. I heard it was really bad and about the damage but the photos look so much WORSE. >.< Gosh, that's terrible. :/ I know Salina got hit, too. (Eastern?) And Chapman is practically all gone. The schools, the old pretty churches. Mum was watching that on tv - that's where she went to school.

I am so glad the tornado missed you! I read about it in my newspaper and I was like "omg that's where Shana and Tara are from!!" and I hoped you two were okay! ♥

I'm getting that storm system tomorrow (oh yay) which is the third Friday in a row with severe weather/tornadoes. And to think, it's only the beginning of June. sigh.
