no joke. the geriatric who took my ID this morning couldn't find my name on the alphabetized list. i was patient and civil until she started telling me about her first voting experience. truman won, and it was her vote that made the difference. i said "that's great" and pointed to my name on the list.

Hey! You don't know old poll helpers till you've voted in Florida. I was taught by an 80 yr old how to use the machine and we voted for Abraham Lincoln, seriously. Then I wrote my mom is for everything that had that option.
