Never a dull moment.

I had just opened this and was trying to think of what to say when Hermione came rushing past with all these bits of pink fabric in her hands. There was a lot of it.. It looked like.. it might have been a dress? I don't know. She looked upset. I think she was crying. I'd go up there but I can't get into the girls' dorm.

I hope everything's all

That pink fabric was a dress I bought her for the ball.

She could at least have sent it back!

You have nothing to be sorry for, Neville.

It was my dress. Ron gave it to me. I couldn't keep it. So I shredded it. Only problem now is that I have nothing to wear.

...Oh, Hermione.. Why??? Why didn't you just give it back to him?

"Never a dull moment" has been a bit of an understatement lately, eh Neville?

If you see Hermione on her way out of the girls' dorm, let her know that there is a stack of mail order catalogs under the biggest chair (the one right by the fire place) in the common room...in case she wants to look for a new dress.

Okay, I will!

Indeed. Never a dull moment until I open up my "friends" page and see your entries.
