So heres an update for your asses. I dated them because I know Jess planned on linking to my journal to explain what happened with getting arrested and all that Jazz. You can find that in the first section, but I recommend reading them both... lots of shit. Lots.

December 30th: Never Chain-Tow, Never.

So, as Im sure Ive mentioned before Jess got into a car accident a few weeks back. Ping-Ponged around Ridge Road and ended up under the cargo portion of a semi, taking out the back end of her car. Since

which time, I have been driving her to and from work in my Cougar (which has an inspection sticker dating June 05). The short version of the events leading up to the 30th is as follows:
*After getting a tow warning, Jess and I "borrowed" her parents driveway.
*After a parental warning, Bill and I played Bonnie and Clyde and snatched the car back. Bringing it once again to the apartments.
*Finally, on the 28th and final tow warning.

So finally on the 30th we decide we have got to do something about this damn car. Our best option? Brockport.
Steve comes over, we toke up and prep for the trip.

FUCKING COLD. You try riding in a car with no rear windshield or back driver's side windo-- fuck, driver's side anything.

10 minutes into our trip her car runs out of gas. What else is there to do but tow it with Steves truck! Hey, why not!

We tow it to a gas station, fill it up, turn the key... nothing. Battery's dead. Wonderfull. Looks like we'll be towing all the way to Brockport.

Unfortunately for us (and our poor judgment) we couldnt slow down in time to turn on to Jess' road, and 30 seconds after passing it... red lights start flashing.
Three cop cars.

AWESOME.

They grumble at us a whole bunch about the legalities of towing a car with no lights and a chain "longer than 15 feet", and Jess tries her best in her high stupor to explain why we were chain-towing. Immediatly

after they check out the registrations and licences of her and Steve.

Jess has a suspended liscence and no insurance.
Steve has a suspended registration.

The cops arrest Jess first, and tell her she wont be getting out until Monday.

Im told to get into the truck with Steve, at which point we see one of the police cars drive off... and assuming Jess is in it, I get nervous.
20 minutes later, Steve is cuffed and put in the cop car.

Im alone.
Im nervous.
Im confused.
Im high.
I dont know what the fuck is going on.

I end up sitting in Steve's truck, cold as hell for another hour.
During which time Im fairly curtain both my friends are already in jail, I have no ride home and I know for sure that if they search Steve's truck there are going to be 800 times more problems than we originally anticipated.

So finally the cop puts m in his car with Steve (who apparently has just been chillin there the entire time), and tells us to call Steves mom to have her pick us up.
Tow trucks come, impound both vehicles, and the cops drop Steve and I off at a Moble On The Run station... we get out of the car and low and behold there's Jess!

None of us were sent to jail.
So it didnt turn out so bad.

But Jess was slapped with 2 tickets for a whole bunch of shit and has to go to court in 2 weeks.

.... I think that pretty much covers our night.
Jess, feel free to add anything I missed.

January 1st: Moving Out

Im bored with LJ right now so Im gonna give you the short version.

Mom's hurt that Im not home alot, chose to call me a liar for things I wasnt lying about... and after not calling her back (due to a dead phone) for a mere 3 hours Im told that Ive "made [my] decision".

Sooooo... my parents kicked me out.

I told my mom I was coming to get my stuff, she said she would pack it the next day, I said I needed it today, she said "come get it in 2 hours and bring the house key"... I arrive, all my shit is on the porch.

Its very obvious to me that she did it to get a reaction.

But my mother is not the same person I grew up around.
Shes turned cold and bitter.

Im sort of happy Im out.
I dont have to deal with the fighting, the hostility.
I dont have to worry about their expectations of what I should be doing and who I should be...

Im doing okay.

Im just sad my parents turned into these people.

I used to think they were pretty cool.

Anyway... if you need to reach me: (585) 406-5148

Id love to talk. Try to keep it after 9 or verizon. Money is gonna be tight for awhile for me so I wanna keep it as free as possible.
Im not sure how often Ill be online anymore, I wasnt allowed to bring my Mac, so I have limited laptop use here. But I miss you...

I love you guys.
