Well, we KNEW this would happen eventually, so I forbid everyone right now from excessively freaking out.

The CT scan results clearly show four 1/2 inch size tumors in my liver. Yep, 4 of them, one that is almost an inch in diameter.

In 2008, one MRI showed an unremarkable 2x3mm spot on my liver - the largest of the tumors found on the April 2010

I just .. it's just that you've battled so much .. and I'm so damn proud of the way you dust yourself off and you carry on, and you stay positive, and you give so much of yourself to other people.

You and nilo? Total role models for me.

I'm sad about this. Really sad. But please know that my thoughts are with you always.

OMG. Jeff bought me a book for my birthday that I saw on The Daily Show about Americans who stood with London during the Blitz, and all I can think about what THOSE people endured, and still brushed themselves off and went to work the next morning.

I would do their memory a disservice by going all to peices over something as literally as small as this really is. It makes me feel like a smashing success to hear you say I carry myself well :)

I am, however surreally, glad you put in the admonishment to not freak out up front.

And Grown Man & Father, Zen Samurai Art Guy, Ceremonial Singer, Third Degree Black Belt, Tai Chi Adept and Pipe Carrier not withstanding... due to my experiences with my parents and far too many relatives, there IS a little back of the head freakout voice clamoring.

"Get it out! Getitout! Getitout! Geddit OUT!"

But because you asked nicely, and show SO much grace. I shall indeed stand down from yellow alert.
