it really depends on what dorm you're in, and whether you're in a single/double/triple. the rooms aren't huge, but they aren't super tiny either

Italian is offered at Pasadena City College and you can take it there if you want.
Oxy is isolated in the sense that there is a campus distinct from the surrounding neighborhood, but compared to 99% of liberal arts colleges, which are often located in rural areas, being right in Los Angeles makes it quite connected.
yeah i would agree with everyone that if you have means of transportation, oxy isn't issolated at all. Los Angeles is a unique city where its really not a city rather a million smaller cities all squished together, which is why getting around can be a pain. (apparently LA is 437sq miles...my friend was just visiting and asking, im not that weird i swear haha). anyway, my sophmore year i had a car and i would go to hollywood all the time, but im just starting to learn about tons of places within a 10-15 min drive from here. LA has tons to do including santa monica and other beaches

It appears as if no courses are currently available, but students can opt for a "self-study" program, whatever that means.
I'm just an incoming freshman, so I wouldn't really know what all that is about.
