Today Devon gave me a bag of gifts at lunch, a little over a month later than my birthday. She had to wait until her next paycheck/time to go out. Late presents are the best because it's like your birthday is never over!
In any case, she gave me mint hot chocolate with CHOCOLATE CHUNKS in it (gasp!), the most deliciously warm and soft angora knee-socks, a semi-self-made necklace, and MICHELANGELO KNEE SOCKS. From T.J. Maxx. Oh no, you cannot get better than that.
The surprises continued when I got home, only to find two packages of my favorite raspberry-flavored cocoa (I had one, but I'm saving the mint for verrrry special occasions) from the little re-opened bookstore/coffee shop. In addition, the package I was expecting from Harry and the Potters also made a surprise guest appearance. Be still, my beating heart! I am so very hyper right now.
I love it when days surprise you with their goodness.
