As I realise I haven't given a decent update in a while, I may as well.

LOOK AT US! *hums*
Yes, we've formed an all-girl band. This hasn't stopped amusing me yet. The lineup: Clodagh (AKA Stutters) as the solid-as-a-rock drummer, Mealla as The Sound One, or The Guitarist Who Can Actually Play, Charlotte as The Dodgy One on keys, me as The Crazy German on second guitar (I don't know how that works, they just threw in German to make me happy) and Laoise as our "difficult" singer. Note the lack of a bassist. (Magda, Magda dear...) We had power struggles before we ever had a rehearsal, it was great.

Oh, and we went to Franz at the Point on Friday. The gig was good, although there was NO NEED to have queued so long- Charlotte and Co. ended up queuing with us and getting wristbands no problem, which killed me and Chloe and our frozen feet just a little. We were rewarded with the sight of a taxi stopping directly opposite the gate, with a dark-haired bloke and a blonde sitting in the back. "Hey, Chloe, that guy looks like Paul, hehe." "...Hang on." "No, it's not." *staring* "Yes it is- it's Paul!" *waves tiny Paul flag* *...only in spirit, I must stress*

The queue

after the others arrived- "BOB FOR PRESIDENT!" "WHO THREW THAT ORANGE?!" "Hey, Alice!" "Alice? Alice? Who the fuck is Alice?"

Eventually we were wristbanded, and stood around a bit longer. (Just for the craic, clearly.) We were amused by the girls beside us writing signs in Irish, and by Chloe's dad appearing beside the queue to drop off her green tie. "Hey, is he in Franz Ferdinand?" "Franz: the Older Version."
Four of us got scarves (they are sooo cozy) and were thus dubbed

Hahaha.

Editors were passable- the bass was ridiculous.

The Rakes were far more amusing though: for your viewing pleasure, dancing Rakes-style. http://media.putfile.com/Spazz-Dance

Franz were fun. Apparently they played for nearly two hours, but it didn't feel like it. Laoise is now officially in love with Alex. Again.
Hands are the bane of my photographic life.

I would have taken a picture of Alex Kapranos in front of a giant question mark, as I found it quite amusing, but as I was holding Charlotte up for most of Do You Want To I couldn't.

Chloe post-gig.
