My company, which has been trying to kill my division for years, has finally outsourced the remaining 15 of us to India. Since I don't want to move to Bangalore, I'm looking for better options.

My other friend who lives up your way, who may in fact work for the same co, got similar news. He's worked there for 22 years.

My field is software engineering. Mostly on UNIX.
