His heart pounded in his chest as he stirred in his bed. To some it appeared that he was having a bad dream, but truly his memories were being taken from him one by one.

He moaned and sat up quickly, he noticed figures surrounding his bed. He studied them, but something about their faces made his head ache. He groaned and looked down at the bed. His heart was pounding; his head was swimming…who were these people?

“Are you okay, Leon?” A boy with brown hair asked.

Leon? The older man thought, who is Leon? He looked around the room, expecting someone else to answer, but no one did. The boy approached his bedside, and reached out his hand to touch his face. He pulled back, and fell off of the other side of his bed. The boy watched him a little hurt.

“Leon!” The boy called, “Are you okay?”

“Who is Leon?” the man asked from the floor, “Who are you?” Sora’s heart sank. How could he not remember him…how could he not remember himself? Sora stared at the bed and sighed.

“No use now…” He started, “I’m nobody, Leon is nobody…just forget I ever existed.” The older man watched him as he turned and left. He had been so tempted to call him back…to learn of who he was…but the other boy’s existence had already been forgotten…

Memories have faded and time had given into amnesia

His heart pounded wildly. An antidote, where was he going to find an antidote to a poison he had never even heard of?

A groan and some sobs could be heard next to him.

"it hurts..." a young boy whispered. The older man looked at him sympathetically...just wait until the king hears that he killed the keyweilder...oh yeah...that was gonna go over well with the kingdom.

Leon could see mobs of people chasing after him with pitchforks and fire, trying to kill him. His heart sped up.

"Antidote, Antidote..gotta find the antidote..." Leon felt Sora's hand brush against his leg and he jumped a bit.

"Leon..." Sora croaked out...

"Sora..." Leon said. He was still searching through a bunch of papers and potions.

"One last time..." Sora whispered, trying to pull himself up into a seating position. Leon tensed and stopped searching. He reached out a hand and traced his fingers over Sora's lips.

"Don't talk like that, you're going to make it..." Leon whispered, his lips inches away from Sora's. Sora moaned.

"Please..." he begged. Leon sighed and granted his wish. He pressed his lips to the younger males and kissed long and deep. Neither one of them wanted to let go, but soon Leon broke the kiss.

"Antidote..." he mumbled. Sora sighed.

"Leon..." he whispered, a smile gracing his lips. Leon studied him.

"Sora..." Their lips pressed together once more, dancing together in perfect harmony. The endless waltz.

Love is the antidote that get's us by...

That first time, right there in traverse town, I remember it like it was yesterday. The day we danced back and forth blades clashing; our first battle. He seemed so determined to defeat me...what courage. I had to laugh at that, I was much stronger and much faster than him, but I did love the way we fit.

It felt like we were waltzing our way across the clouds, that's how light we were on our feet together...blades crashing, making a rythmic sound. It was a beautiful moment.

I almost hated when it was over, when we had to stop...when I had to him and carry him back to our hotel.

When we got there I didn't hate it all that much...we were all alone. I studied his smooth skin and I leaned in to get a closer look.

"Who is that Squall?" A perky voice asked.

"I told you," I said, "My name is Leon." Yuffie crossed her arms.

"Well," she said, "I didn't ask who you were. I asked who he was."

"The keyblade weilder the king was looking for..."

"Why are you leaning so close to him?"

"We fought...I'm merely inspecting his wounds," I lied, but Yuffie seemed to believe it. She exited the room leaving me alone with him once more.

The endless waltz, our timeless battle of love.

It was just as I had expected, I was home again, but it didn't feel like home. It felt like a prison. No more of his smiling face, no more of his child-like innocence. I felt so betrayed...

Now the door is closed and Ansem is gone. I couldn't help but wonder what our Hero was doing right now. He was probably back on his island with his girlfriend.

Jealousy washed over me, but it was soon replaced by that same feeling of betrayal. I didn't know why, but ever since Sora left...all I felt was betrayal.

I was the one who told him to close the door, so wasn't I the one who had betrayed myself?

No...it was the key wielder...the key weilder has betrayed you...your love...your devotion...all betrayed...worthless
