We try to visit my uncle & cousins every 3 years or so.

This year we hope to see more of my cousins and my other uncles for the first time in about 7 years.

It's amazing how time flies! I guess these days it's more common as families become more dispersed that one can go years before seeing relatives. Still, it's unfortunate that it's mostly in times of illness that the realizations sink in.

Alas, you are correct.

The last big gathering was for my Mother's funeral. Including a group of "The Cousins" going off to just hang out together.
