when i get new shoes, i try to wear them around my house all day just to break them in, then when i actually wear them out they don't totally kill me. and when you said your teacher was a liberal guy who said "fuck" a lot, i immediately pictured Lewis Black explaining the signing of the Declaration of Independence and laughed aloud.
