oh my god Laura! U own! i have the SAME problem with this ex-pal/ evil mutant named Brie! she's such a ilttle poser..she'll take my fav. music quotes, or movie quotes..and claims to love the same colors i do (when in thr past she didn't) and she's and then shes all like "originality" "be yourself" "i hate posers" i want to punch her in the face with mace.. and knock her teeth in.
in the end..i know i'm bitching over things that don't matter, but its soo annoying.. they're basically taking credit for something that doesn't belong with them or to them.

and it probably sounds so weird to other people, but when it happens to you, it's just...not! like it seems so crazy that little stuff like that could bother someone, but it does. when i was friends with this girl, she would always have to dress like me or think that she had to act a certain way around me. she did it to whoever she hung out with. yet she thought she was SO original and such a hardcore "punk rocker" or whatever she thought she was. i hate it when people aren't themselves and have to act like everyone else, it's one of my biggest pet peeves. and she totally found my lj and reads it: i wrote song lyrics in here a few days ago, and she had the same exact lines in her away message a day or two afterwards. and then after i made this post, she IMed me asking if i was attending something at our old school. totally out of the blue. very stalkerish if you ask me. it sounds funny, but it's terribly annoying, although i guess it can be viewed as somewhat flattering - someone thinks that you're cool enough to want to do everything

absolutely. Me old friend and i are now DYER- enemies... there is no discusssion/communication at all, i know she reads my profile, views any web pages i make, read my LJ and myspace account. i try to act high and mighty and say "yeah..its cool to be a role model" but in the end its like someone is ripping out my fingernails. she didn't just do this to me, she would, "transform" and act differently with everyone else.. also stealing little things they did. I used to say .. and i quote " she is like a broken mirror in a crowded room" ..a total reflection of everyone, but with a negative connotation.

i hate that, that whole transforming into whoever you hang out with bullshit. why can't people see that it's much cooler to be yourself than to be like everyone else?
