she had so much hair, SO MUCH HAIR, i mean, she lost 2 lbs, that's right, TWO POUNDS OF HAIR when she was shaved, and she was shedding (because its spring time and that's what fluffy kitties do!), that she was coughing up hairballs like, every night so much that it was affecting her appetite & she wasn't eating as much...and my dad was whining but that's not why it was done...really it will be more comfortable for her in the summer - she is usually sweltering & crying & lying on cold surfaces...
