Pans stood up from the chair she was sitting in by the fireplace and sighed lightly. She walked over to the portrait hole and was about to pull it open. She reached her hand out to it and before she could even touch it, it swung open. She leaped back and saw a familiar face staring at her. It was Blaire

Daphne came down from her dorm and found herself a comfortable chair near the fire. Her eyes lifted from her book when she heard Pansy.

Pans saw Daphne and she bit her lip slightly. "Uh, Daphne, this is my annoying cousin, Blaire," she said quicky. Blaire looked at the girl for a moment and then hopped out of her chair and ran up to her. "Who are you? How old are you? I'm 6 but I know I look waaaaay older. Do you have a middle name? Do you like cats? I do, but my father hates them so I don't have one. Pans has one though! She's pink! Are you friends with Pansy? She is my best cousin and she's cooler then anyone I know! are you going to the ball? Pansy is and she's going with Adrian! I haven't met him yet, but if he's taking Pansy to the ball, he must be wayyyyy cool!" Blaire asked the girl.

Daphne smiled at Blaire then threw a "gethimawayNOW" look at Pansy. She couldn't help but be taken back by the topic of the ball. She didn't have a date, therefore, she refused to go.

Pans tried to refrain from giggling as Blaire kept going on and on with her questions. "Do you have any brothers? I don't. They're way weird! What's your favorite color? I like green and silver 'cuz they're Slytherin colors, duh! Slytherin is the best house ever!" Blaire babbled. Finally, she stopped asking questions, and said, "You know, you haven't answered any of my questions. It's not very nice. It's actually kind of rude."
