Continued from here.

The conversation had died down as Patsy found herself too tired to even try to talk. When she woke up in the morning she half expected Cloe to be gone, having run off for more drinks, but she was glad she was still there.

Patsy wondered what the noise was, the noise that had woken her up. It was gone now - had it been music? ( Read more... )

Cloe stirred under the sheets. She wiped the bit of drool from her cheek and tired over, her eyes still closed. She didn't remember how she had ended up under the sheets exactly, but oh well. She had no intention of waking up. At All. Her head pounded as she rested against the soft pillow. She wondered where Ved was. And then remembered she had told Patsy what happened. She pushed it farther back into her mind. How many drinks had she had last night. Two? Three? More? It didn't matter. The pain of last night was still there. And a brilliant thought crossed her mind. To sleep the entire day. Avoid everything. Stay in Patsy's room. And sleep. Salene wouldn't be too happy, but oh well. The last thing Cloe needed to worry about was Salene getting upset for her sleeping until dinner. Cloe groaned as she heard Patsy get dressed. Why was she even awake?

Patsy realized as she heard Cloe groaning that Cloe must have a hangover. Patsy had never had one to really know, but she knew they were terrible. Patsy figured it was probably best to let Cloe sleep. If she wanted to talk to her she'd get up.

Patsy tiptoed out of the room to the hallway to see who was up.

Cloe rolled over and let her foot dangle out over the side of the bed. She groaned as the rolled over again, trying to find the perfect position. She threw her pillow to the floor and layed on her stomach. She groaned again and threw back the covers. She grabbed her sweatshirt which she had shed off sometime during the night. She pulled it on and her hair stood up. She smoothed it back down and yawned. Her eyes had bags under them and were red. Not bothering to look in a mirro, Cloe shuffled out of the room.
